Glycolic Acid - an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from fermented rhubarb used to reduce corneocyte cohesion a thickening of the skin where excess dead skin cells build up. It is also known to help stimulate and strengthen collagen and elastin production for smoother, younger looking skin.

Salicylic Acid - a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) derived from willow tree bark used to help clear and prevent acne breakout. Topical salicylic acid is also a keratolytic agent used to treat skin conditions that involve scaling or overgrowth of skin cells such as psoriasis, ichthyoses, dandruff, corns, calluses, and warts on the hands or feet. It is also a gentle alternative to benzoyl peroxide for reducing redness and decongesting the skin.
